In this three-day workshop you will go from beginning your abstract “Mess Around” to a finished, expressive watercolor or acrylic portrait! David provides the painting reference photos and associated outline drawings for tracing, and you follow his step-by-step painting procedures. After this three-day workshop, open to both watercolor and acrylic painters, you’ll be wowing people with your own Mess Around portraiture creations!

David calls this painting style “California Vibe Watercolor Portraiture.”™ It’s been published and exhibited in major magazines and galleries world-wide. For over a decade, he’s been teaching this out-of-the-paint-box style of portrait painting in workshops across the United States and Canada.
