The Art League is a thriving community of hundreds of talented local artists, many with national and international profiles, but also home to artists just beginning their journey. At the New Braunfels Art League, all artists and fans of art are welcome!
We’d love for you to join us! Membership is open to anyone eighteen or older, whether you are a working professional artist, an art appreciator, a hobbyist looking to add to your skills, or someone just wanting to get hands-on with art. Just Announced! Joan Fullerton has added "The Abstracted Landscape" workshop to her 2026 visit to the Art League, March 27-29, 2025! This class will focus on visually indicating water and air, distance and atmosphere, land and vegetation. Joan and her students will simplify, fracture, exaggerate, or distort images to abstract the composition and add more visual intrigue. Techniques such as “fogging”, modifying edges, adding impasto areas, and incorporating transparencies will be used to add texture and interest. Register soon, as Joan's workshops always sell out!
