Welcome to the New Braunfels Art League!​

The Art League is a thriving community of hundreds of talented local artists, many with national and international profiles, but also home to artists just beginning their journey.  At the New Braunfels Art League, all artists and fans of art are welcome!   ​

We’d love for you to join us!   Membership is open to anyone  eighteen or older, whether you are a working professional artist, an art appreciator, a hobbyist looking to add to your skills, or someone just wanting to get hands-on with art.  Learn more about the benefits of NBAL membership and how to join.

Featured Class of the Month - Acrylic Painting with Instructor: Frances Fontaine

Date and Time: Wed. afternoon from 1:00-4:00 pm. Classes start August 20, 2025.
Cost:  $150 + $30 Studio Fee for six weeks
Location:  Bower Classroom
Oil & Acrylic Painting Lessons - Beginner to Advanced
We will review important painting basics like value, color mixing, design, etc. Frances will teach a lesson or do a demo each week. Composition, color study, expressing yourself with bold, juicy brushwork will be included! Loosey-goosey is how we roll! These classes are fun with a serious approach to learning all things painting.
