Drawing-Based Media
The New Braunfels Art League offers a wide variety of art classes throughout the year for people of all ages and skill levels. These classes are taught by our talented, professional artist members in our beautifully renovated historic building. You do not have to be a member of the Art Leeague to join these classes, so if you have ever thought about taking up an art medium, or improving your current skill level, these classes are for you!
Instructor: Gaye Sekula
Date & Time: First Tuesdays, 9am to noon. Class limited to 8 students Cost: $50 per session, plus $5 /student studio fee Location: Bower Classroom A class for intermediate to advanced students who work in oil, acrylic, pastel, or watercolor and are ready to put in the work necessary to take their art to the next level. Assignments will be given to be worked on between sessions and students will be asked to share their results. Students will receive guidance for their specific journey and help setting and reaching their personal goals. *Must have a good working knowledge of their chosen medium.

Time: Thursdays, 10:30 am Cost: $20 per lesson + Studio Fee $5 Location: Memorial Classroom Pastel Explorations: Introductory and Continuing exploration of the pastel medium. Students create from their choice of reference and feedback is given. Learn and grow together.

Time: Weekly on Mondays from 1:00-4:00 pm Cost: $175 for six sessions (includes studio fee of $30) Location: Bower Classroom Drawing is the basic skill of all visual arts. In this class, open to all levels, we will use line and value to create the illusion of form.
