The Most Fun You will Ever Have Watching Paint Dry!
Plein Air artists from across the nation will gather in New Braunfels to create art work that emphasizes its unique historical and natural beauty of the city and its environs. Painters will work their artistic magic on canvas as they visually interpret our town from dawn til dusk in a variety of artistic styles.
The Quick Draw event will kick off TRPA on the evening of Oct 14th at Krause’s Cafe. In this unique event, artists will go from a blank canvas to a finished piece of art in just two hours! The main event starts the morning of Oct 15, 2024, when painters will hit the streets over the next three and a half days to create as many pieces as they can before the submission deadline at noon, Oct 18th! The public is encouraged to join in the fun, and watch and interact with the Plein Air artists as they go about their work!
Two Rivers Plein Air will wrap up with a reception and awards ceremony at the New Braunfels Art League October 18th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The artists' final works of art will be on sale at the New Braunfels Art League through 2:00 pm, October 19, 2024.
