Glass and crystal objects often seem like a very challenging objects to paint, however they can be simplified into shapes. During this 3-day workshop we are going to explore a variety of techniques that allow to create realistic glass objects in transparent watercolor. We will use a simple still life set up as an example to learn how to approach the variety of shapes, colors, values and texture of glass and reflective surfaces.
Our accomplished artist-instructor, Monika Pate, will provide step-by-step demonstrations and explanations of all the techniques. Students will receive individual attention during the entire workshop.
