A Three-Day Oil Painting Workshop for any Level, Beginner to Advanced
With Award Winning Artist, Al Slavin
Sept 8-10, 2023; 10 am - 5 pm Daily

In this workshop you will be painting a landscape of your choosing using Al’s technique and paying close attention to values, composition, atmospheric perspective, and lighting.
There will be an emphasis on how to paint clouds and trees with depth and color. Al will be going over the basics of good oil painting: Color, values, composition, media, canvas preparation, and technique.
It will be a fun-filled three days with the students leaving with a completed painting and an increased knowledge of what it takes to make a solid painting.
This is a course for all levels of painters. Beginners will leave with a solid foundation on which they can build future paintings and the more experienced painters will receive information and techniques to improve their overall skills.
