The Art of Photography

This special exhibition is devoted to showcasing original photographs that show the depth and artistic range of the amazing photographers who live and work in Central Texas. We are looking for images that reveal the photographer’s technical and artistic competence, especially those in which the photographer clearly aims for something more. Successful submissions will be photographs that engage the viewer in classic, contemporary, or completely novel ways.  Basic adjustments, edits and crops are acceptable.

This show is open to all Central Texas photographers, including members and visiting photographers.  Five cash prizes will be awarded to the top entries, as determined by the judge and detailed in the prospectus.

Entries for this show will be limited to traditional film and digital photography only.  Images may be edited, but mixed media work and composited images will not be accepted.
