This highly individualized hands-on photo-editing workshop is now offered in the one-on-one Private Edition format. We'll cover Lightroom in detail, with the class focusing on your persoanl needs and learning goals. The topics and strategies we will learn are ideas common across all the major editing platforms. Once you understand them, a few minutes of editing can take an average picture to new levels!

We’ll look at tricks of the trade that all pro photographers apply to their photographs after they leave the camera. You'll learn how to manage your images, how to decide what edits to apply, how you can refine your style with editing, how to decide if an image should be taken into post-production, and how to use simple editing strategies to bring out the very best in your images. We'll use Lightroom to illustrate editing best practices.
Lightroom has just released a new version, and it includes some new tools that you will love, including Lens Blur, which allows sophisticated control over background and other elements that simulates depth of field effects very nicely; Point Color which gives you the ability to precisely adjust the luminance, saturation and hue in specific colors and areas of your image with masks; and Lightroom's amazing AI Noise Reduction which is viewed by many reviewers as the best tool on the market right now!
Photo Editing, Private Edition meets on your schedule. Your course can start whenever you are ready! The course fee of $250 includes a studio fee of $10.
