Break free from rendering details and learn to create painterly paintings full of light, color, and atmosphere. In this workshop, you’ll discover how to choose and compose photo references that lead to dynamic paintings—works that feel alive and painted from life rather than copied from a photograph.
Robin will guide you in starting with strong, simple shapes and clear value relationships, giving you the freedom to explore color, edges, and expressive brushwork. You’ll learn how to:
