A Three-Day, Hands-On Workshop
With Joan Fullerton Mar 27-29, 2026; 10 am - 5 pm Daily

This class will focus on visually indicating water and air, distance and atmosphere, land and vegetation. We will simplify, fracture, exaggerate, or distort images to abstract the composition and add more visual intrigue.
We will utilize techniques such as “fogging”, modifying edges, adding impasto areas, and incorporating transparencies.
Bring a couple of old or unresolved paintings to rework on day three.
