Artist of the Year for 2024

​The annual selection of the Artist of the Year is the Art League's highest honor for artistic achievement. The objective of the Artist of the Year Program is to bring recognition to the outstanding artists of New Braunfels Art League who during 2024 won either a Best of Show/Sponsor’s Choice or been awarded 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbons for artwork they entered in one or more of the Art League's Special Shows.

This is a show you will not want to miss!  The announcement of the 2024 Artist of the Year and the two Honorable Mentions will take place at the Opening Reception to be held Friday, January 10, 2025 from 6-7:30pm.

The Artist of Year will be awarded a $500 cash prize at the “Artist of the Year” show reception provided by NBAL.   The honoree's bio and photos will be featured on the front page of the NBAL Newsletter for February and posted for the entire year in the Artist of the Year section of the NBAL Website.  The artist’s name will be placed on the NBAL Artist of the Year Commemorative Plaque that is displayed at the front of the NBAL Main Gallery, and he or she will have a piece of their work displayed throughout 2025 in the front of the main gallery.  Two Honorable Mentions will be awarded a $75 cash prize.
