Two Rivers Plein Air will wrap up with a reception and awards ceremony at the New Braunfels Art League October 18th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The artists' final works of art will be on sale at the New Braunfels Art League through 2:00 pm, October 19th. Learn more about the event! |

Two Rivers Plein Air … Strike a Pose, New Braunfels!
From October 14 -19, 2024, Plein Air artists from across the nation will gather in New Braunfels to capture the beauty of our town.
The main event starts the morning of Oct 14th, when painters will hit the streets over the next three and a half days to create as many pieces as they can before the submission deadline at noon, Oct 18th! The public is encouraged to join in the fun, and watch and interact with the Plein Air artists as they go about their work!

Artists will park their easels all over New Braunfels and Gruene to create works of art of our historical buildings, two beautiful rivers and wonderful parks. It’s truly amazing to watch them work!

The public is encouraged to join in the fun, and watch and interact with the Plein Air artists as they go about their work!

Join Us: Krause's Oct 14 to Kickoff Two Rivers Plein Air
Come experience Quick Draw, a timed competition to challenge an artist's skills. The artists will have just two hours to take their canvas from blank to fabulous with their interpretation of the scene or item before them. No Pressure! Quick Draw begins at 3pm and is open to other artists who register and pay the $25 fee. Afterwards, from 5-7 pm, join us for our ticketed TRPA Meet & Mingle event.
